Found this in my husband's family barn. it didn't have a woven seat and I wanted to use it our office so it is refinished, I didn't find any markings on it, just need to put it back together and get it in my office. Does anyone know anything about this type of chair?

The offset spindles would tell me it isn't terribly old.

Additional pictures would help. A close up of the wood grain, and picture of the bottom of the seat, and maybe one of the swivel mechanism. From what I can see it appears to be a 1890's - 1910 oak office chair. I am assuming the wheels or castors have been replaced during the refinishing.
