The Snow-Trac tractor was first released in 1964 and in the catalogs through 1969. In 1970 it was replaced by the Merriweather fire engine. The first MB 35 was the Marshall Horse Box.
The Snow-Trac was perfect for cruising around the ski resort in the Alps or perfect for me to get to work after a big winter storm.
Sadly the rubber tracks on these tend to break. They weren't meant to last 50 years. Lukily they sell replacement tracks for them. This one has original tracks which have separated. Still fine for display.
I have another model with replacement racks but those broke and are held together with staples.
Didn't see that someone wrote "cast" on the box. Should have turned the box around. It is a diecast toy.
Love this little Snow-Trac and amazing that the rubber tracks have survived at all.
Thank you very much Wandlessfairy. I keep it in a cool dry place so hopefully they won't disintegrate.
Thank you
