This is of a type. The very pale pink is reminiscent of Welz, but the shape harks to some rubina-verde and blue glass that I have.
The ribbing looks a little like the fins of a fish, and could date this from 1905 or so to 1930. Quite a wide design period bridging Art Nouveau into Art Deco, but sitting comfortably in both.
A little like those heavy organic "murano" vases which have been made by Skrdlovice and Chribska and others for about 50 years.
This is in great nick and is 20.8cm high.
Really different foot/underside. Nice one!
It's a beauty, and the ribs look slightly different to others I have seen. Nice one Ian!
