I don't know about the history, came across this bunch of barbed wire the other day here in Wyoming and thought either I or someone else could use it in some type of crafts, possibly sell it and have a little pocket change.
I never knew people collect this stuff and that there is a huge museum dedicated to it! Over 2,000 variations, wowzer!. Being told this, I'm researching....trying to get an idea of the average value ($ per foot), what type of wire this might be called, and to get a date as to how old it is.
Thanks in advance to anyone that might help me with the information I'm seeking.
These might help, they don't say the gauge of the wire but some look like your's
