A little trinket box I found today. I found one like it for sale on the web, but no info was listed about it. It is about four inches across. (I haven't tidied up the inside yet.) Maybe 1960's?

I have a similar box with the same brushed brass look, rust n all. It has some ones initials on it with 1937 below that. Is yours a playing card box maybe?

Hey, maybe so, Collectomaniac. I wonder if it was a box for Gold Crown brand playing cards? And thats much older than i had guessed. Very cool. Turns out the little velvet lining is cardboard and slipped out easily. I was able to lint roll it clean, lol.
