This quirky little Victorian glass basket is made from two layers of cased glass, opaque white over a bright pink interior. It measures 6.8 cm tall including the handle, 13.5 cm in length, 6.8 cm across the pinched in middle, & 4.6 cm across the base, which has a rough, snapped pontil mark. The basket has an applied thorny handle made from amber glass. Unlike many other Victorian pieces I have in this colour scheme, the white glass does not contain uranium. English or Bohemian? I am quite uncertain, but it is the most petite basket in my collection, whereever it hails from.
