I think these is 1920s -early 30s from the "pot" hat and the coat. I just love 2. the grandfather--as much as the baby, and the mother, aunt or daughter--is very sweet. They are all experiencing a "Big Day" in their lives--and I hope it was wonderful!!
These iare just an everyday photos of the times, probably developed at the drug store. Not postcards--Nothing on the back.
ADDED! Just got 2 more-- For sure Photo 3 is the same old fellow with another grand-baby---and maybe his brother in the rubble of an earthquake-Now in first position.-All same family anyway!
OH! Thanks Guys!

This is going to be one of my favorites...it is the old man. With his high collar and vest now really, would he make a great character actor, or what!! I'd love to sit and have long talks with him about his youth. I'd sit right on his lap! (I am little)
Many Thanks!! Glad you love it!

Photo 3 looks as if there had been an earthquake. What do you think---All three photos ARE from same family.
Earthquake
The thin plate-glass on the store window behind him is still mostly intact with all other windows intact. Not sure it was a quake. Why would one building become totally destroyed, and none of the others exhibit a crack? My guess is, one was demolished or collapsed due to things like fire, sinking ground, or an explosion. I'd say flooding, but I see no flood damage.
