This is an ashtray that holds fond memories for me because it was in my parents' home for as long as I can remember. It's probably from the late 50's or early 60's. Neither one of my parents smoked but it was there for company.
It is about 5" x 5" x 1" and seems to be made of a glazed ceramic with a metal eagle in the middle. There is a blue and a red stripe that outline the perimeter of the ashtray.
There are markings on the underside that are curious: 5750 c.c.c. Italy Heritage.
