    Looking for info on 1775 Somersett cane tip...there was the British war ship involved in the American Revolution from 1775 spelled Somerset...also..1775 law journal article talking about case regarding slave named James Somersett ...The name seems to be spelled regularly with one and two t's within the same articles..any information would be appreciated..Thanks Jimmy
