LOUMANAL
(436 items)
CW Member "antiquerose" and shaunl86 have posted a few of these rocket pad-like footed bowls over the years and one especially has the exact same pointed rocket feet. This clear with pastel-opalescent spatter bowl measures 4 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" in diameter. It has a flat upturned rim and a well proportioned cup body. It probably dates 1920-30's and could be by WELZ. Any similar items out there? BOB
Peggy @sklo42 has posted a few of these too..... nice find Bob!
Love these legs!...:-)
Yes Phil! I forgot to mention Peggy@ sklo42....she has many beautiful examples of tall rocket-footed vases in many colours and has inspired many to start collecting these unique items. Thank you and inky for the comments and love. Thank you also to aura, artfoot and IronLace for the love. RER
I do like this one, LOUMANAL, a spatter I don't know and a bowl shape I've not seen before. It's the way the bowl goes down to make a central 'point' for attaching the feet that is different.
Yes, Peggy ...there is a sealed drain-like hole in the cup that allows the bracket feet to attach directly to the underbelly. I like how the feet extend to the tiptoes to hold the cup. Thank you for the comments and love.
Thank you also blunderbuss2, Alan2310 and fortapache for the loves. Bob
