Right place, right time, mother of a friend of a friend and then some.
As the story goes, it was a wedding gift in 1969 and it sat on a window shelf ever since.
Never used , just appreciated.
It's 18cm x 16cm.
No scratches or flea bites just glistening smooth Japanese midcentury splendor.
Did I mention a label? A little faded but intact.
I love this color, it reminds me of my time at sea.
