This rose bowl is in the décor commonly called 'quilted' due to the pattern of the surface texture. This one also has swags and tassels, but its great attraction for me is that it is green!
The shape was made in a mould and the texture continues on the base. This is usual for Kralik textured pieces but you have to marvel at the mould maker's skill, especially with such a fine, geometric texture.
It came with the frog in image one, but the more shallow frog in image two fits it better. The Mother of Pearl version in image three is much more common.
The colour is not variable......the swags have caught the light!
Diameter 14 cm./5.5 inches
My favourite shade of green
Mine too!
Kind as ever, nutsabotas, thank you :)
lovely shade green and the moulding sets the piece of beautifully Peggy
Thanks, MALKEY, yes the swags etc. relieve the boredom!
