I dug this bottle up today from an old house site. I can't find anything about it on Google. I did do a little bit of research before coming here and found out some history that I already knew about my own state, but that didn't tell me anything more than what I already know about this bottle. Anymore information about its date of manufacturing is what I am looking for. Thanks ahead of time.
Malkey is your man. Hopefully he'll be able to help. Great bottle.
Nice bottle.
I found a Harry B. Biedenharn and a Lawrence C. (Willie) Biedenharn in the 1921 & 1926 Vicksburg city directory that listed them as proprietors of The Coca Cola Company. Look like they had a Candy business as well located at 1421 & 1423 Levee Street. I would estimate your bottle to be in that era. Early to mid 1920's.
Nice bottle anderson, I have a few bottles, but don't study them much. I've never seen a Coca Cola bottle like that before, so rare to me! :^) Very good find, I would've grabbed it too! :^D
Oh! Welcome to CW, a lot of friendly people here, with a lot of knowledge, about a lot of things! Enjoy! :^)
Typical 1920s soda-water bottle put out as a generic design by Coca-Cola for their bottling facilities.
bottle-bud, and SpiritBear, come through with the answers! Great job! Go ahead and mark it solved, Anderson! :^)
I had one once that was square body & a star & I believe made by the same company. It should be in my CW posts from several yrs. back.
Well, it was 5 yrs. ago. Bottom "MONTGOMERY" & side: "SODA WATER".
Hello to everyone that has replied to my question and thank you for yalls interest in my find. I was amazed that the bottle itself was not damaged at all when I pulled it out of the ground. It was sitting right next to the 3 mini balls I had just located when I found it. This bottle will definitely continue to carry its history further into the future now that its out of the ground for my family and friends and people here to see. Thank yall very much.....
