I was just given this and it works, cant seem to find a model number on it or serial. Any help out there would be great. It takes a bit warm up and then it will tune in to stations. Im not sure I want to keep this and would like some info on it. Thanks

This is beautiful! I used to listen to one in our basement back in the day, I would record music from KSTT by attaching aligator clip affixed to wire in back of radio and record on the old Wollensok reel to reel tape player
Like a stupid idiot, I chipped away the corner veneer when it lifted up a bit

Thank you - I really love it to, but not sure I will keep it. I may post it on e-bay or something. It works after warming up. It is a beautiful piece of history. Think of all the stories and news that were listened to on it with families around it.

Your radio is a 1940 model # 12-S-445. In the shape its' in, worth approx $200.
