Estate Sale Antique Sewing Maching find

This is a hand crank fiddle base sewing machine I found at an estate sale. It came with a nice bentwood top. A lot of the decals are worn off. It's a long shuttle machine, and oddly enough has holes in the base (don't really look like they were original holes) for a treadle belt. So either it was a treadly machine which someone converted to hand crank or it's a hand crank someone tried to convert to treadle.

It has mother of pearl in the base (which is why we bought it), and the name "Regina" on the neck. I *think*, judging by the fiddle base and long shuttle, that it's a late 1800-early 1900 machine, but I can't find any information on a maker by the name of "Regina".

Any ideas?
