I found this first thing in the morning on Sunday, from the same couple that I got the costume jewelry necklaces, it's a Forman Bros. electric coffee percolator, with a pot made of pottery. Westinghouse made the heating element, and the pottery/porcelain was made by several different U.S. pottery companies, Hall Pottery, being one of them, that the Forman Bros. used to manufacture these coffee makers.
The 2 handled, front chrome spigot serve 1930-40's 10 cup coffee maker, has a chrome lid with glass bubbler, aluminum parts, and 4 black rubber feet. The power cord is rubber, but it may have come with a woven fabric cord, not sure. It will brew a full pot in about 20mins. and works great. The pot has no stains, looks almost new, except for slight checking to the chrome on the spigot, that has a Bakelite valve handle.
On the bottom of the pot it says 115 VOLTS over 150 WATTS, in the center it has a name plate that reads FOMAN BROS inc, on top of that it has chromium plated ware, and under it reads Brooklyn New York, under that on the bottom it says, To Avoid Damage To, under that, Heat Unit , Do Not Set, under that, Article In Water
I really like this coffee maker, and think will be great to use on the table at a dinner or brunch. :^)
Thank you for looking, and please, any comments or questions welcome! :^D
