    On the very bottom of this piece it appears to have a cross with the # 8 inside of it.
    Very heavy!

      Thank you to the original poster. I am very interested to learn this too. I recently found one of these lamp bases in my attic (old home) and was curious. I did some checking online and have not found anything.
