Mats Jonasson Crystal Swan

Look what I found today! Another Mats Jonasson! From his etched crystal wildlife collection, this one is a perfect swan and her little one. 6" x 4" tall.

I didn't really want to say her 'baby' so I looked it up and this is what I found; "The male swan, called the cob, helps the female, known as a pen, to look after their babies, called cygnets until they are a year old. The young don't spend more than one day in the nest once they hatch".

I think this one is a keeper, it looks amazing in front of those blues! I just found a double owl piece, same maker about 2 weeks ago and think this is the 5th one so far. The others made excellent gifts!
