So this looks like one of those souvenir ethnic dolls, possibly Greek? Face is cloth, handpainted, with mohair wig, hands look like plastic, legs same with stockings and plastic shoes, on a velveteen base. Perhaps Manikin can help with identification. Thanks for looking.

I would say made in Italy or Spain as a tourist doll. Not sure what nation she represents by clothes but based on facial painting she appears to be made in one of those countries.
I like!!
She has got such a cute face... :)
Yes, my father brought me back a very, very similar doll from Greece circa 1970. Certainly, the construction is identical: painted face on fabric, same style of features, same bead-encrusted dress - does she have wire upper arms rather than solid ones too? Mine did. So I'd suggest it would very likely be from that region and era.
And BIG FEET. She had disproportionately big feet, in big, flat, black shoes. I remember being a little floored by those! Barbie, she wasn't.
I agree she looks Greek ! , So many companies made dolls with faces that resemble her's :-)

Thanks for both comments, Manikin, I agree, many companies made similar souvenir dolls. :)
Thanks, Karen, I'm glad you like. :)
Thanks, martika, these dolls always have such interesting character! :)
Thanks, Scrapiana, for confirming my thought, her outfit reminded me of Greek clothing, the information on era helps a great deal. Yes, wire arms, I would not have noticed if you hadn't mentioned their construction! The feet are not so large on my doll, lol. :)
