The last couple days I have been working on moving out the amber and yellow (topaz) depression glass and going all pink for this cabinet. Been doing this after work, today was day 7 of 8 in row of work for I get points for getting anything done after a day of work. I took photos last night and after I looked at them it looked horrible.
This is my new improved version. My main focus for depression glass has been Old Colony by Hocking Glass. I like that pattern as it is the most pretentious and ostentatious of the depression glass patterns. A handy point of this pattern is that I can use cup holders to hang the pieces from the top of the cabinet from the loops on the glass. Makes it stable and displays well.
Several more examples of various pink patterns of glass are also present. Looks like I had a bit more than I thought.
Looks great.
Wonderful display and I enjoyed reading the post too......particularly the last sentence. I think many here will identify with that!
Beautiful!

Really lovely collection. The lovely glass reflects the light so beautifully. I just love that shade of pink! Please tell me about the clock atop the cabinet.
Thank you very much betweenthelens. One thing about glass of a single color is that it has an additive quality. The more you add the better it looks.
As for the clock.......
