    i found this at Goodwill yesterday for 99 cts. it's about 5 inches tall and has two long, graceful handles. i have a few vases in a similar form. i think it was popular in the the 40s and 50s. this piece may be a later piece harking back to that period - kind of like a retro piece. art.pottery solved this mystery!

      Reminds me of Winart Pottery. You should be able to google that and find images of the glaze combo, but the company is obscure, so finding an example of the form may not be possible. I know they made a similar form in a mini, but from memory it was only about 3 1/2" tall. If Winart turns out to be a red herring, I'd agree with your potential attribution of Japanese.

      i think you are right art.pottery! i think that this is a Winart piece. the glaze matches although i couldn't find the shape anywhere.
