This décor has been a want for a while and is akin to a (simple) glue chip but not entirely the same - tiny grains of pink then clear glass have been taken into the glass at two stages, the second stage is something between a frit and a confetti, giving a waxy feeling to the surface.
It is likely to have had a metal rim or rim, handle and top, serving as a biscuit barrel or ice bucket.
It is 16.5cm high x 10.5cm across the top.
The martele shows beautifully on this shape and colour..lovely!...:-)
