I have three Seth Thomas clocks from my Grandparents Estate. I would like to know about them and what they are worth. I do have the original keys for all of them if that matters. This is the first one. Thank you for your help.

I dont know, but I would like to sell it. I had trouble uploading the picture of the back. It does have the complete original manufactor label and is numbered 102. I did see one sell on Ebay about 4 months ok but did not pay that much attention to it.

I do not think it works. I am scared to wind it up but I dought it works. It has been very well and carefully packed away for 27 years since my grandmothers passing. I need to know more about it first. Do you collect clocks?

I wish I could say I collect Clocks... I’ve just always Wanted a Seth Thomas Clock, but never Found one at a Antique Shop or Show that wasn’t Ridiculously over priced and actually working.

Thank you AR8Jason, all of the clocks do have the original weight. I got the gears on the right side to work but not the left side. On the other 2 clocks I could not get them to work at all. Do you know what they are worth?

Another "Adamantine" veneer in gold / brown. It's a seven day time and strike clock. I don't know the exact model, but it dates from 1880 to 1910 and in working order is about $250.00 to $325.00, depending on interest.

Hello Cathy, perhaps better late than never, allow me to add some specific additional information. Clockman1954 had it right. These Adamantine Seth Thomas mantel clocks came in a wide variety of finish patterns. I believe you have a Model 777 circa 1894 appraised by Ly at $375 in 2005. Ly's illustration shows a basic black model with simulated marbling. I believe that your Adamantine pattern is referred to as Brazilian Onyx. Hope this helps.
