    Good Day Everyone,
Back in 2008 I went on a vacation to China for one month. Not speaking Chinese made it difficult at first but not impossible as I bought a translator machine about the size of a large cell phone. I have never been in a place where it's wall to wall people in many areas. Surfing through the crowds was a challenge so much pushing and shoving even waiting to board the planes or buses were the same be aggressive or get pushed out of the line.
Pictured above are photos of a small part of a 10 day bus, airplane tour I took. It was cheap and included food and lodging. Having never used chopsticks wasn't good as everyone was using them so the waiters would be running around looking for a fork for me. Most of the time I didn't even know what I was eating. We would all be sitting together and the food would arrive in huge bowls and everyone would dig in. This old couple took pity on me and the lady would raise her voice to the others then fill a bowl or plate for me.
There was so much to see and so many old furniture pieces, art, jewelry, and what was also amazing were the old buildings just stunning. I was going through my older photos on the computer today and came across these photos and wanted to share them.

Hi Thomas the hand is supposed to bring luck, and good health I believe. People do a complete 360 keeping their hands on all the way.

That Buddha is huge Wandlessfairy. The climb up the stairs to the base of the statue gave a good view all around.

I figure we're not here that long Phil so why not see as much as we can. China has such an ancient history and what I saw I liked. Shanghai was one of my last stops wish I would have spent more time there!!
