Here's another one from the lawn tool shed. This old hedge-shear was found for cheap at a junk store covered in light surface rust, most of which went away easily after I introduced it to the wire-wheel for a brief visit. :-) The resulting tool is branded "DOO-KLIP", made by The Lewis Engineering and Mfg. Co, Alliance OH. Its blades are made of relatively heavy steel, with an interesting 'serrated' edge profile. The handles are made of molded rubber, featuring most of their original mfr's label still intact. The entire tool is approx. 19" long, and still works great!

OK, what's going on here...my 2nd post of a LAWN TOOL item, posted in the plain TOOLS category (because there's no appropriate further category available for me to choose) but yet, it ends up being categorized as a SEWING TOOL.

      FAIL!!!!!

That's the great thing about well made old tools - a clean up , a drop of oil and they are ready to go again.
