These are wonderful well made and framed pictures of Marie Antoinette & Elizabeth of France. They are Hiawatha Needle Painting kits that were purchased and embellished with needlework by the buyer. According to the tags on the back they were made circa 1950.
The pair are in vintage frames. Marie Antoinette is #63 with blue bow & Elizabeth of France is # 62 with small red bow. They are numbered on bottom right corner which you would see if taken out of the frames. They are approximately 6 1/2" x 7 1/2" including frame.
Addendum: After adding these I researched the name of the person on the back who made them and discovered that she is a family relative through marriage...how strange!

I love that the printed image is so vivid. Very sweet! That's the kind of needlework I like. Simple, easy and looks beautiful!
Celiene, I just found a set on ebay that they are trying to sell for $250. I was surprised to finally find more information after searching forever.
Also the fact that a relative made them makes them extra special!
