It looks like a broadside: large one sided "poster" meant to be tacked up on a wall.
This was for the 1836 Election and is out of Essex New York and appears to be for the "County Convention".
The Whigs ran several candidates in the general election in hopes of splitting the election and forcing a House of Representatives decision. Martin Van Buren won the election.
Four years later Harrison did win the election, but only served about a month before his death.
