This is a pink Rooster measuring 7" X 7". It is a pink quilted design. To me the right side of the back corner looks like a rose. I don't know if this is by accident or design, but it is pretty. The bottom is polished. Colors are pink, red and black. It is stamped Ann Primrose Murano d'arte, the label is on the bottom.

Just wanted to share with everyone, that this item is a good example of a forgery. Even though it has a Murano label on it it is not a Murano. Thank you to Racer4four and Brad for the education, it is greatly appreciated.

We'll I'll be...what?! haha Hey Karen, look at this will you!!! The bottoms of these are so, so I don't know what to call it. It's weird right? As if you could actually put your hand in there it's so clear but you know it's not 'hollow' because you're holding it and it's heavy, right?!?

Sue that's because he started life as a lump of clear glass, the feather decor was made with other colours on top, and then he was clear cased again. The base has been ground back to sit well (and look nice) so the clear guts are showing.
Nice rooster Tahiti, by the way!

Tahiti I don't want to disappoint you but these Ann Primrose pieces are not true Murano, rather they are made in China. Dodgy marketing, nice glass however.

Thanks for the heads up. Better informed next time. Love the piece anyway.
