My dad gave me this Teddy as a child as I have been wondering about it for many years.It is still in its original though tattered state and does look a bit rough but has always been thus.A bit of background on the teddy:
Back in the days pre 1970’s of Rhodesia my dad was a policeman.
They had open days where the public were allowed to come and view the whole police force set-up and lifestyle.
After one of these open days, my dad returned to his barrack and found this teddy abandoned on his bed. Teddy has been in my life ever since and has immense sentimental value. The bow is my own addition.
Feels like there is some mechanical stuff going on inside, so am assuming that Ted could once make sounds(growler) too, however not once whilst in my care.
