Came across this from a work mate who is getting rid of a bunch of his stuff. I am really digging it and want to buy this but neither of us has any idea what it is worth. I don't want to offend, nor do I want to overpay. Anybody got an idea on its worth so we can get in the ballpark anyways.
I have the exact one shown that was my grandparents - the one you show is missing the plastic top that was the actual ashtray/cigarette pack holder and match holder. I have been looking for many years and have only found one other but cannot find out what they are worth. Let me know should you find out and I will post if I find the value.

But I think its way overvalued.
What you paid sounds fair to me! In fact, before I scrolled down, it was the amount that I had figured in my mind. I have seen some of those too but in different colored woods or finish. RER(BOB)
