Small cup and saucer. Flowers painted on? the inside of the cup and outside of the saucer. Mostly black cup handle. Cup and saucer rim are trimmed in black. No identifying marks on the bottom of either the cup or saucer. Printing around the outside upper of the cup says "COMPLIMENT OF NIPPON SILK of PRODNCT CO"
From my dad's house on the Canadian prairie. Belonged to his wife of Icelandic decent. Have no idea of the story to go with it. Any ideas?
I am wondering if it came as a bonus with another product. Sugar, flour, tea towels,....
