    Rattletrap
    (915 items)

We bought this cute little Bi-Plane to go with all the Cool Signs and gas pumps of similar vintages and to mix in with the P-51 and the little Bede 5-J on the roofs of buildings and antique Service Stations at Lakeside Storage in Provo Ut. The mixture of antique porcelain signs, gas pumps, and old planes is enchanting to young and old alike and it seems that I never tired of looking at them. This particular plane is the one I'm going to teach myself to fly when I reach my 90s. Till then I'll keep on hunting for cool signs and pumps!

Like your addition. Is that a home built ? No reg. numbers, humm . How far are you from the border ?

      Blunderbuss2,
You're always looking for the details. This was a kit and built by a guy in Idaho that works for a Plane factory in Afton. He built it in his spare time and ran out of time and $$ before he finished it so sold it to me. The engine is actually a Lycoming, not a water cooled antique.

      Celienew,

Rattletrap, if you ever decide to get it flying, be sure to talk to me 1st. There was an AD note that came out on those (I)O-320 engines just before I came up to have my heart attack. It requires a complete tear down of all those engines.

Do you have room for all of us in your house or do we need to stagger groups ? LOL!!

If I make it to my 90s and decide to "teach myself how to fly" the little bi plane, it will be to do stunt tricks as I learn and to see how low of bridges I can fly under or barns I can fly thru. Hence no numbers on the plane! Not needed for what I'm thinking. Reliability won't be much of issue I don't think?

Our guest house has recently had quite a bout with ground termites and the floor has collapsed. Bring a hammer when u come as some repairs will be in order.
