This is an early pocket pen knife. Just by looking at the image of the basketball player dunking in a "basket" and his clothing. Stamped on the blade Pradel.

This style of knife with die-struck brass handles depicting various activities - especially sports - was very popular in France during the middle of the 20th Century. "Pradel" was the name of an old cutlery making family for many generations and it is now a trademark registered to G. David Fils. It is also the generic European name for utility-style knives like this, usually having a blade and up to 5 additional blades/tools such as a cork screw, screwdriver, cap-lifter, awl, etc. In the U.S. utility knives typically have only four blades, like the official Boy Scouts of America knives, and are often incorrectly called "scout" knives generically. Collectors refer to these knives as utility knives regardless of whether they are jack knives, like this one, or pen knives. A 3-blade knife, very similar to this, is currently listed on ebay at auction # 232320401859 and another one, also with a accordionist, sold earlier today.

Here's a classic 6-blade pradel that's really rough. The stampings on the handles are very similar, but not quite the same as yours. 182567342368

Don't get any "ideas" from this guy's pricing. He's definitely delusional.

      They're everywhere! Also ludicrous price:

If I sold half of that would be great. People can ask what they want I guess.
