mnemosyne
(1 item)
I just got this at a yard sale--the elderly lady said her husband's grandfather brought it from Switzerland. It's been recovered on the interior at least once--a sailor girl with cat emblem is on the interior lid. Outiside seems to be metal design overlay--any information appreciated!
Hi mnemosyne, fancy tin covered flat top, from around early 1900's , cross slat design, has top slats running front to back, along with slats running end to end, patented by C A Taylor in 1880. very nice color on the tin. greendog
Thanks greendog!
