A tourist stopped by yesterday and asked if our gas pump sold unleaded gas? Really? I told him it was clearly marked as "leaded fuel". I assumed that would be like a guy allergic to peanuts eating peanut oil? I'll bet those rental car catalytic converters would love a little tetra ethyl lead in them to plug things up!!! Cheaper to buy an epi pen for an allergic reaction I think?
This very nice pump was found right here on Kauai in Kapaa town. It survived Iniki and Ewa! Slim pickings here on Kauai for big porcelain signs however! Rust and big winds combined with strict sign laws and small population were never sign friendly combinations. I just keep hunting anyway.
Hey Rattle, how far did you have to chase that tourist to get that cap & shirt ? LOL!! I like that ! Would get you mugged in some places I've been.
Blunderbuss2,
Funny u should ask. I actually got the cool Nike shirt that's is a Rafa Nadal tennis shirt when we were in Vietnam last year. The cap we got last year in Indian Wells Calif at the Spring tennis match. My kids make fun of me saying I must have bought the outfit at a second hand store very cheap as they think it looks foolish. I like it and ignore their taste. That's a wonderful place to go for tennis! Surprise!
I like it, but be afraid to wear it in SXM because of all the "higglers" that would think I am a tourist & hit on me. You know how all white people look alike.
Blunderbuss2,
I actually wore that outfit in Paris and Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Montenagro, Slovakia, so our kids could always find me in a crowd! It worked great & I never got lost! Old guys get lost easily without some help! Lol.
Oh! You noticed it too. LOL !
Blunderbuss2,
My friends all laugh at me when I wear the Rafa shirts to the beach because they can spot me from across the Bay and know exactly what shade tree I'm lounging under! No hiding in that outfit!
