This Victorian glass rose bowl is made from two layers of cased glass - salmon pink over a pale, custard yellow interior, which contains uranium & glows under UV light. The colouration is very similar to the preceding vase, which, due to the distinctive double gourd shape, is well documented as a product of John Walsh Walsh. I am not so sure about this rose bowl, which is why I've referred to it as a Crushed Strawberry lookalike. It measures 8.3 cm tall, 3.8 cm across the cut top rim, & 5.5 cm across the clear, applied footed base. No pontil mark is visible.

That's the colour! Crushed strawberry flummery (and the other one had a some Crème anglaise with it).
      They are delightful.

Thanks so much - so much Victorian art glass has a touch of the dessert about it - pure eye candy minus the calories! :-)
