    I just bought it in a goodwill store in iceland for 100 kr = 90 cents. Found 2 online, one was just like it except dark blue and one almost the same except a little different base and it was marked as italian. Now i need our glass experts here to tell me wrong or right :)

      Hi VikingGirl,
      I've got a similar one listed in green cased glass . 16"h !!
      I found a few on the web here and there all with different bases ..
      Mine has ten lobes on the base some more some less .
      I think someone called it an elephant foot vase !
      I also think you can find new ones of the type I have ..

      I agree this is Italian, mostly by that base.
      Japanese versions of these vases generally had an eight lobed base, sometimes less, but not like this.
      It's a fantastic colour!
