I have a rare and quirky three bar chime mantle clock from the '60's . It is smaller than average and designed to suit the smaller mantle pieces. Tambour and in the 'atomic age' style.
The 3 bar chime chimes once on the half and chimes the hour. Very pleasant and musical.
