This rather iconic image was first created in the early 1980's and became a great advertising success for Hitachi Maxell. Featuring a guy being "blown away" (along with his furniture and cocktail) presumably by the quality of sound (recorded on MAXELL TAPE, of course) coming from his stereo speakers.

This is an authentic original poster from that ad campaign, which I myself got brand new from my then-local music store as a teenager. It has been on one of my walls someplace ever since. (and has the thumbtack holes on its corners to prove it!) Several years ago I finally made a simple frame for it so it now resides behind plexiglas. (which, by the way, makes it harder to photograph?!) It measures about 22" x 44".
