This has been in my family for years. As you can see from the pictures, it is about 8 inches tall and it's about 7 1/2 at its widest. No identifying marks that I can find so I am once again at your mercy, fellow collectors! Help identify this piece please.
pattern is Hofbauer Byrdes Collection covered candy dish but I haven't seen it in pink before or with the lovebirds lid like this one. Tho' I'm finding them online in various colors with the same lovebirds lid.
Can you send a link to where you're finding them? So far, I have only found one even remotely close.
there are several on eBay right now. from the images provided the glass does not look to be the quality of Hofbauer crystal; so I'm thinking possibly a copy/reproduction...

I swear my google is sabotaging me. I put in exactly what you had in your search and only one picture came up from "picclick." Thank you TallCakes. I see what you mean by reproduction, the glass isn't as sharply cut in those pictures, it seemed like.
problem with google at times is their attempt to provide "relevant" returns according to your 'perceived' interest... To me the lovebirds on the lid are an approximation to Westmoreland's lovebirds candy dish. The design on your looks like a combination of Hofbauer and Westmoreland.
