Ahhhh.... this is a special piece, acquired via a house clearance of a lady who passed away in her 90's; she was obviously an avid collector and appreciator of fine arts, glassware, paintings, classical vinyl and books! Although we don't have paperwork to confirm the authenticity of this piece 'experts' in the field believe it to be a GENUINE MADE by and SIGNED by the man himself MICHAEL HARRIS! It truly is a remarkable piece, described by one collector as 'the fossilised breath of the artist'.. so romantic! It is 224mm high and 192mm at it's widest point, it weighs 2051grammes.

I'm not going to dispute the authenticity of this; it is such an impressive piece of Harris work.
I wish I could enlarge the pictures to see it more clearly. Great piece of art glass!

Thank you both for your comments, it's a piece we've had for some time, my husband was always confident it was 'the real deal' based on the previous owner, we posted it on here about 3 years ago and has since seen a lot of lollipops but we only know of one other that is signed by the man himself! If I could post a larger photograph I would but not sure how to sorry :-/
