These barrels were made to replace wooden ones of the time period,so they have the same shape and most are 56 gallons unlike the 55 gallon modern day barrels.They are not worth a lot as they are HEAVY and large! I had 1 that was really beat up so I cut it off and made a wall decoration out of it! These are all (3) dated 1913-1916,the 2 whole ones are STANDARD OIL CO. and the wall hanger is NATIONAL REFINING CO. of Evansville Indiana.
These were found floating in a huge flooded salvage yard about 10 years ago.
