I'm the one in the middle - I'll have to post another once I can get it to work. Glad to hear I'm not the only one with uploading problems.
Thanks for the love and for stopping by to comment.
Ooh, Gillian! You're a cutie :-)
Thanks for sharing those sweet memories !
Wonderful photo Gillian. I love your dresses; that's a lot of smocking!
Your mum's blouse in pretty interesting too. Did she make most of your clothes?
Thank you so much valentino97 - it's one of my favourites.
Beautiful photo!
Bless you vintagelamp for your comment.
I'm very grateful indeed for those who left some love - thank you very much.
Mother is Love Care and Blessing.
Thank god we got shade of our Mother, Help orphans because they don't have no one except God.
A very, very, very long past due Thank You to racer4four, nutsabout and Kyra for seeing the photo and leaving a comment. My sister was born in 1947, I think it's very possible that Mum made that blouse. Quite a complicated looking yoke. Quite sure she made the apron.
She had some lovely clothes - mid to late forties they still had rationing. Can't see her walking around looking for patterns and material! She most likely made a lot of our clothes when we were little persons.
My son is in possession of some very large black and white photos, that my Dad took when we were babies, and older ones of us on Bognor Regis beach (stones) that he posed with some other girls. Need to write down some of these memories. Dad was quite the photographer, he took some of my Mum too, which look as they were '45 to '47'ish. Bye for now.
and...Radegunder who left me some love. Thank You!
There are so many of you that gave me some love. I am so very grateful to all of you!
Your mom looks so nice and interesting, love these type of pics the most !~
