Im sure there's a story on this bracelet , but I don't know it. Stamped 835.
I like the fact that there are safety locks on it.It looks asian but thats vague.

It came in a "grab" bag of jewellery at a community garage sale in Montreal. I bought both bags for $5.00 A lot of lovely costume and some sterling pieces.
I've never seen a panel bracelet like that one. Very interesting!

I have seen bracelets that were similar, except with Egyptian motifs - pharaohs, pyramids, etc. - & that looked quite a bit like Egyptian silver work, except much better made, as this piece, with its dual safety clasps, is, & without Egyptian marks. They were made in Germany. With Efesgirl's info on who uses this grade of silver, suspect that is what we are looking at.
