I'm sure you missed new mysterious "etruscan urn" maker's mark posts ;-D

    Here is the latest one!

The brooch / pendant weights approximately 9.4 grams & w

Worn as a pendant the piece measures approximately 1 3/8 inches - 3.5 cm in drop length measuring from the top of suspension loop down & measures approximately 1 inch - 2.5 cm width measured across.

The mark on this one looks more like a "flaming pot"...

Mystery continues with no answers from the forums or Pforzheim Museum...

It's a beautiful pendant/brooch! Have you tried finding an authoritative source on marks and asking? Is there some way of contacting someone from a museum who might know?
    9. kyratango kyratango, 8 years ago
      Hi Katherine :-)
It seems many others collectors are trying to identify this mark... Robin Deutsch, who identified Knoll & Pregizer, told that to someone on CW (can't remember the member!) who is in contact with her!
I sent an Email to the Pforzheim Schmuck (jewelry) Museum with pics and.... no answer!
Thanks for your comment and interest, my friend :-)

Very welcome, I hope you find an answer. Try another museum or authority on silver marks, someone has to know.

This is real pretty kyra! I thought cactus in a pot. Then and more likely, could that represent a horse head with a flowing mane? It's Possible, right?
    14. kyratango kyratango, 7 years ago
Ha Sue, you're the first to see a horse head! I tried too the cactus in pot or planted pot, with no result :-)
Thank you for your input, appreciation and love !
