Photo's are of my father and his graduating Class Book from Luke Field in Arizona after him completing his training to be a pilot. It is my understanding that there were not many classes after this time period that were needed to provide the Allied War Machine with enough American pilots trained for combat.
This was the class of Feb. 1944 and he went on to be trained at Randolph Field in Texas to be an Advanced Instructor, training the Chinese Cadets
sent here in 1945. This he did for most of a year at Marana Field in Arizona. He completed his 4 year service period in 1946.
