Hi I came a cross the Rolling Stones record and can't figure out what the "I "stands for in the LKI 4955 mono record. I find LK 4955 but not the LKI. Any help identifying would be great...

I could stand for being produced in Italy.

So I was on a web page that show s the labels and Id numbers and Italy was skli and looked differnt , is it the Same?

Also says that year 1968 was a blue label for Italy and it also says produced in England on the record I have nothing about Italy

The link won't open, sounds like Thomas has solved the mystery though!!

Red=mono, blue=stereo, you can look it up by the inverted matrix number too, XARL 8476. (There were many variations with Decca Labels, possibly too many to list). And the "I" almost always meant a pressing for the Italian market.
