This is a beautiful Westmoreland, milk glass, beaded grape, covered and footed candy dish. It was extremely difficult to capture the Westmoreland stamp. The W is the only thing I could get, but it is there. The measurements are 10" x 4.5". Like all Westmoreland, it is a quality piece. Just looking for the year, if anyone can tell me.
This pattern is known as "Beaded Grape." It was first made in 1963. It is known as the 9 inch bowl and lid.
the #1884 Beaded Grape is often associated with the #1881 Paneled Grape. However, the Beaded Grape is a reproduction of United States Glass #15059 California c1899, which was not made in milk glass. The intertwined/superimposed WG mark was used c1940-80. Westmoreland closed shop and sold off everything in January 1984. These patterns were also reproduced by L.G. Wright.
