    I bought this sometime ago it is made by the Franklin mint in 1990 this table is a original design of a Oriental laquer ware style.it has been made from hard wood .and is hand lacquered and hand embellished with burnished with gold.over the years some of the lacquer is coming of can it been fix can I do it is it worth doing our should I leave it as it is.can any one help with any ideas. I would really appreciated any help many thanks

      What a nice little table! I don't know if it is worth a lot, but if it's a beloved piece in your house, you should probably look into getting it fixed by a professional; lacquer is a finicky thing, and any attempts to glue and/or fill in the missing bits yourself could turn it for the worse.
