Japanese "Wistarian" coin dot glass

I bought the bowl here first, knowing it was Japanese because years ago I had the same piece with a Wistarian label on it. As is the collector's way, just after I bought it the decanter came up so I snaffled it too, happy it still had it's label.

They are a lovely cranberry colour, and the coin dots are optic, meaning they are on the inside only; the exterior of the pieces is smooth.

I wasn't sure what the bowl was for until I saw the decanter. I had always thought the bowl an odd shape and size, but now I'm pretty sure it's actually an ice bucket. The pitcher has grind marks in the neck so should have a stopper. Unfortunately it is missing and I am not sure what shape the original stopper was.

I have seen other cranberry glass with Wistarian on it, generally it has a very romantic look to it with shapely bodies and frilly necks. It seems to often be identified as English or Fenton glass, although both this decanter of mine and the ice bowl I had before have a sticker on the base: Hand Crafted Made in Japan.
I don't know which company in Japan produced it.
